Foco Pure is notorious for producing the best 100% all-natural coconut water, harvested from the most fertile coconut tree fields in Thailand. Popularly known as the “heavenly water,” Foco’s coconut water has the natural ability to aptly replenish fluids and electrolytes lost during physical activities. With so many coconut water brands crowding the supermarket shelves, it’s become difficult for a brand like Foco to hog the spotlight. When they came to us to design their website, Foco was primarily looking for a way to cut through the clutter and make their brand instantly recognizable.
Jumping into market research of typical coconut water consumers, we found they were primarily interested in what health benefits Foco Pure has to offer. This made it critical to place information spouting the origins and nutritional content of the products at the forefront. It also increased our need to communicate the fact that Foco Pure is pure coconut juice in a bottle – that the product is all it’s cracked up to be. Foco retains a level of quality and rich nutritional content that has been sacrificed by other brands.
To help exhibit the water’s purity and “heavenly” qualities, we produced a 3D animation video for the homepage. It models a real, full-sized coconut in its natural state, cracking open and pouring its contents directly into the form of a Foco bottle. The site then takes you to a page where you can explore the different flavors of coconut water and their natural properties. Our palette of zesty, tropical colors owes a visual debt to the lush forests of beautiful Thailand. The background of each flavor was shaded with the natural color of its fruity derivation.
By designing the website to be both visually stunning and easy to navigate, we successfully maximized user anticipation and excitement about the products. It’s not just consumers who are now after Foco’s coconut water. After the launch of the site, major distributors across the entire nation have been stocking up on the products.
