The World's Healthiest Ancient Grain

Pereg Quinoa Pasta

Packaging Design, Food & Beverage, Natural Foods

For over 100 years, the gourmet experts at Pereg Natural Foods have scoured the world in quest of superior quality, all-natural ingredients to bring to the table of every family. What started as a small Israeli spice cart in 1906 is now a multinational wholesale brand, offering a cornucopia of organic grains, spices and herbs.

Pereg Quinoa Pasta is yet another prime example of Pereg’s ability to reinvent the uses of ancient grains. This gluten free pasta is made from 100% quinoa flour and offered in three different varieties: Fusilli, Curvo Rigatto and Spaghetti. A superfood powerhouse of goodness, Pereg Quinoa Pasta is an amazing source of protein that helps replenish energy and keeps you full longer.

Though there are few brands of quinoa pasta in the market, many of them feature packaging designs with the same shiny, ultra-smooth and enhanced product imagery. To better distinguish Pereg, we went the other direction, honing in on the product textures and using high res, close up photography. Small transparent windows reveal the pasta itself, which blends gracefully into the imagery. This design was born from our research of pasta buyers, most of whom prefer to see exactly what they’re getting. No funny business.

Following its release, the product instantly became a customer favorite. The company received major exposure from foodies and health-conscious eaters from all over the nation. Pereg Quinoa Pasta is available at major grocery stores across the United States, including Whole Foods, Fairway and many more.
